With today’s technology is an excuse, I mean how hard is it to use spell-check. We already know that none of us can do simple math due to the modern miracle of the calculator.

This isn’t just my personal pet peeve, ask any hiring professional and they will tell you that spelling mistakes make you look unprofessional. The truth of the matter is your resume represents you. A resume littered with spelling mistakes makes a poor impression. Some issue proofread your resume and click the spell-check button.

We all make mistakes and an error is inevitable. That is why you should always ask a friend or colleague to proofread your resume. Sometimes when you’re too close to your work you don’t see the errors.
